The 2010 South Central Regional Championship Series (SCRCS)
will be kicking off Febuary 28th in Hattiesburg, MS. The series is
open to
any resident of any State. The series will consist of nine (9)
USA
Cycling Off-Road sanctioned races in Alabama, Louisiana and
Mississippi.
1. Racers
do not have to race a minimum
number of races to
qualify. Racers will receive two (2) drop races (if you
participate in all
races your lowest two places will be dropped. If you
miss two races
these will count as your drop races). |
2. The overall
series winner
in Cat 1 will receive a jersey to wear the next season
and a trophy.
Second and third place Cat 1 will receive a trophy,
plaque, or ribbon.
There will be swag for Cat 2 at the end of the season.
The swag will
go (3) deep. The overall Cat 2 winner will receive a
jersey to wear
the next season and a trophy. Second and third place Cat
2 will
receive a trophy , plaque, or ribbon.
Cat 3/junior Overall winner receives a trophy and jersey
to wear next
season, second and third place winners will receive a
trophy, plaque,
or ribbon.

3. There will be a trophy/cash payout for best
overall team. Points will
be added up for each team member each race. If a rider
switches
teams during the season his/her points stay with the
original team.
Points going forward would go to the new team. Riders
picked up
during the seasons their points going forward would go
to the team.

4. Expert 40+ class will race expert laps.
|
5. Riders will be issued a race number at the
first race in which they
participate. You will use the same number all season
long. If you lose
your number there will be a $5.00 replacement fee.

South Central Regional Championship Series. Points will
be added
together from each race. There
will be 1 drop race.
